Northern Shaanxi Bacon Casserole
Ingredients
- 200 g Shaanxi cured pork belly (larou)
- 2 potatoes (cubed)
- 100 g tofu skin
- 50 g glass noodles (soaked)
- 500 ml chicken or pork stock
- 2 tbsp light soy sauce
- 1 tbsp dark soy sauce
- 2 slices ginger
- 1 star anise
- 1 tbsp Shaoxing wine
- Scallions
- Cilantro
Instructions
- Wash and cut the northern Shaanxi bacon casserole into pieces, blanch it in water to remove the blood foam and set aside.
