Shaanxi Hamburger Roujiamo
The classic Xi an style roujiamo featuring melt-in-your-mouth braised pork in a freshly baked flatbread. Often cited as one of the oldest sandwiches in the world.

- Pork belly 500 g
- Flour 400 g
- Yeast 5 g
- Green bell pepper 2 pcs
- Coriander to taste
- Scallions and ginger to taste
- Star anise 2 pcs
- Cinnamon bark 1 piece
- Cooking wine 2 tbsp
- Soy sauce 3 tbsp
- Rock sugar 15 g
制作步骤
- 1. Knead flour and warm water into a soft dough and let it rise for 20 minutes.
- 2. Divide the dough into strips and roll it into a thin round dough.
- 3. Sprinkle green pepper, coriander and a little salt on the dough
- 4. Roll up the dough and flatten it into a cake shape
- 5. Brush the pan with thin oil and fry over medium-low heat until one side is golden brown, flip over
- 6. Fry both sides until golden and crispy, remove from the pan and cut into pieces.
