Sixi meatballs
Ingredients
- 600 g minced pork (70% lean, 30% fat)
- 100 g water chestnuts (finely chopped)
- 2 eggs
- 3 tbsp cornstarch
- 2 tbsp light soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp white pepper
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 slices ginger (minced)
- 4 bok choy
- Sauce: 300 ml chicken stock
- Sauce: 2 tbsp light soy sauce
- Sauce: 1 tbsp dark soy sauce
- Sauce: 1 tbsp sugar
- Sauce: 1 tbsp cornstarch slurry
- Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
- Cut the pork filling into thin slices or small pieces, add cooking wine and a little soy sauce and marinate for 15 minutes
