Weifang pork roast
Wéifāng Ròu Huǒshāo (Weifang Meat Fire Cake) is a popular baked pastry from Weifang, Shandong. The pastry features a flaky crust filled with seasoned minced pork, baked in a clay oven until golden and crispy. The filling is juicy and savory, making each bite a perfect balance of crisp pastry and tender meat.
食材清单
- Dough: 300 g flour, 150 ml warm water, 5 g salt
- Filling: 300 g minced pork
- Filling: 100 g scallions (minced)
- Filling: 2 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tbsp sesame oil
- Filling: 1 tsp five-spice powder, 1 tsp sugar
- Filling: 1 tbsp ginger water
制作步骤
- 1. Cut the pork filling into thin slices or small pieces, add cooking wine and a little soy sauce and marinate for 15 minutes
- 2. Pour an appropriate amount of cooking oil into the pot and heat it over high heat until it is 70% hot.
- 3. Add the pork stuffing and stir-fry quickly over high heat until it changes color.
- 4. Add onion, ginger and garlic and continue to stir-fry until cooked through
- 5. Add salt, soy sauce and cooking wine to taste, stir-fry over high heat and serve evenly.
- 6. Remove from the pan and serve on a plate
