Northeast Iron-Pot Stew
Instructions
- 1. Cut the ribs into sections. Blanch for 3 minutes.
- 2. Prepare all vegetables.
- 3. Heat oil in iron pot, sear ribs until golden.
- 4. Add ginger, green onions and star anise.
- 5. Add soy sauce, Shaoxing wine and enough water to cover.
- 6. Bring to boil. Simmer 30 minutes.
- 7. Add potatoes, taro, corn and green beans.
- 8. Cover and cook for 25 minutes, until everything is tender. Remove from pan.
