Instructions

  1. 1. Cut the ribs into sections. Blanch for 3 minutes.
  2. 2. Prepare all vegetables.
  3. 3. Heat oil in iron pot, sear ribs until golden.
  4. 4. Add ginger, green onions and star anise.
  5. 5. Add soy sauce, Shaoxing wine and enough water to cover.
  6. 6. Bring to boil. Simmer 30 minutes.
  7. 7. Add potatoes, taro, corn and green beans.
  8. 8. Cover and cook for 25 minutes, until everything is tender. Remove from pan.
