Zhejiang Huzhou Tilapia Soup
Instructions
- 1. Wash the tilapia. Cut into thick slices.
- 2. Heat the oil. Fry the fillets until golden brown on both sides.
- 3. Add ginger, garlic and scallions.
- 4. Add Shaoxing wine and hot water.
- 5. Bring to boil. Reduce heat. Simmer 15 minutes.
- 6. Add tofu cubes.
- 7. Cook for another 10 minutes until the soup turns milky white.
- 8. Add soy sauce, salt and white pepper to taste.
- 9. Garnish with chopped green onion. Serve hot.
