Ingredients
- Duck breast 300g
- Ginger 10g (sliced)
- Scallions 3
- Light soy sauce 2 tbsp
- Dark soy sauce 1 tsp
- Shaoxing wine 1 tbsp
- Sugar 1 tsp
- Star anise 1
- Water 300ml
Instructions
- 1. Cut duck breast into pieces.
- 2. Heat oil, sear duck until skin is golden.
- 3. Add ginger, scallions and star anise.
- 4. Add soy sauces, Shaoxing wine, sugar and water.
- 5. Bring to boil.
- 6. Reduce heat. Simmer 40 minutes until tender.
- 7. Increase heat to reduce sauce.
- 8. Serve hot with rice.
