Crispy roasted pork
Cuìpí Shāoròu (Crispy Roast Pork Belly) is a Cantonese masterpiece with impossibly crackling skin and tender, juicy meat underneath. The pork belly is scored, blanched, dried, roasted, then finished with a final blast of high heat that transforms the skin into a golden, shatteringly crisp shell.
食材清单
- 1 kg pork belly (skin on, with ribs)
- 1 tbsp white vinegar
- 1 tbsp salt
- 1 tbsp five-spice powder
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp garlic powder
制作步骤
- 1. Wash the pork belly, marinate with seasonings for 30 minutes
- 2. Line a baking sheet with tin foil and add crispy roasted pork
- 3. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees
- 4. Place in the middle rack of the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes
- 5. Take it out halfway and brush it with a layer of marinade.
- 6. Bake until the surface is golden brown and then take it out of the oven
