About Fuzhou Peanut Soup - Fujian Cuisine
Peanut soup is a classic traditional dish in Fujian and a representative work of Fujian cuisine. Mainly seafood, the taste is fresh and sweet, and it makes good use of soups. It is good at stewing, stuffing, frying and mashing. Huāshēng Tāng is widely popular in local families and restaurants.
Ingredients
- Peanuts 300g
- Clear water 1000ml
- 3 slices of ginger
- Salt as appropriate
- Cooking wine 1 spoon
- 1 green onion
Instructions
- 1. Wash and process peanuts
- 2. Add enough water to the pot, add peanut soup and ginger slices
- 3. After the fire is boiled, skim off the foam.
- 4. Add peanuts, water, ginger slices and scallions and simmer over low heat for 1 hour
- 5. Add salt to taste
- 6. Serve in a bowl and sprinkle with chopped green onion.
