Li bamboo tube rice
Ingredients
- 300 g glutinous rice (soaked 4 hours)
- 100 g smoked Li ethnic pork (or smoked bacon)
- 50 g dried shrimp
- Wild herbs (available: cilantro, Thai basil)
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- Fresh bamboo tubes (20 cm sections)
- Banana leaves for sealing
Instructions
- Wash the rice 2-3 times, add appropriate amount of water and soak for 30 minutes.
