Char Siu Rice
Char Siu Fan is a quintessential Cantonese rice bowl featuring tender, sweet-savory barbecued pork served over steamed rice with a glossy soy-based sauce. It is one of the most popular lunch items in Hong Kong and Guangzhou.
食材清单
- Pork shoulder 500 g
- Char siu sauce 4 tbsp
- Honey 2 tbsp
- Light soy sauce 2 tbsp
- Oyster sauce 1 tbsp
- Cooking wine 1 tbsp
- White sugar 1 tbsp
- Minced garlic to taste
- Ginger juice to taste
制作步骤
- 1. Marinate the barbecued pork rice with cooking wine and a little starch for 10 minutes
- 2. Heat oil in the pot, slide in the barbecued pork rice and stir-fry quickly until it changes color and serve.
- 3. Leave the oil in the pot and sauté the minced garlic and ginger until fragrant.
- 4. Add plum blossom pork, barbecued pork sauce, minced garlic, and ginger juice and stir-fry until cooked through
- 5. Pour back the barbecued pork rice, add oyster sauce and light soy sauce and stir-fry quickly evenly
- 6. Thinly thicken the gravy, take it out of the pan and serve on a plate
