Changshu Beggar's Chicken
Ingredients
- 1 whole chicken
- 2 lotus leaves
- Pork belly 100g
- 5 shiitake mushrooms
- diced bamboo shoots 50g
- Glutinous rice 100g
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- Cooking wine 2 spoons
- Salt as appropriate
- 1 piece of tin foil
Cooking Steps
- 1. Wash and cut the chicken into pieces, add cooking wine and a little soy sauce and marinate for 15 minutes
- 2. Pour an appropriate amount of cooking oil into the pot and heat it to 70% heat.
- 3. Add chicken and stir-fry quickly over high heat until it changes color.
- 4. Add mushrooms and diced bamboo shoots and continue frying until cooked
- 5. Add soy sauce, cooking wine and salt to taste, stir well over high heat and serve.
- 6. Remove from the pot and plate
