Xinjiang Chicken Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 whole chicken (cut into pieces, about 1 kg)
- 500 g potatoes (cut into large chunks)
- 2 green peppers, 2 red peppers
- 2 dried chili peppers, 5 star anise
- 3 slices ginger, 3 scallions
- 3 tbsp soy sauce, 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 tbsp chili bean paste (doubanjiang)
- 1 tsp sugar, 1 tsp cumin
- 200 g hand-pulled noodles (lagman)
Instructions
- Wash and cut the chicken into pieces, add cooking wine and a little soy sauce and marinate for 15 minutes
