Xinjiang hand-picked rice
Ingredients
- 400 g long-grain rice (soaked 30 minutes)
- 500 g lamb (cut into large chunks)
- 300 g carrots (cut into thick matchsticks)
- 2 large onions (sliced)
- 3 tbsp lamb fat or oil
- 1 tsp cumin, 1 tsp salt
- Water or lamb broth
- Garnish: raisins (optional)
Instructions
- Wash the rice 2-3 times, add appropriate amount of water and soak for 30 minutes.
