Xinjiang pilaf Homemade
Ingredients
- 400 g long-grain rice (soaked 30 minutes)
- 500 g lamb (bone-in, cut into chunks)
- 3 large carrots (cut into thick matchsticks)
- 2 large onions (sliced)
- 500 ml lamb broth or water
- 3 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- Garnish: raisins (optional)
Instructions
- Wash the rice 2-3 times, add appropriate amount of water and soak for 30 minutes.
