Xinjiang yogurt shaved ice
Xīnjiāng Suānnǎi Chuàngbīng (Xinjiang Yogurt Shaved Ice) is a beloved summer dessert in Xinjiang. Finely shaved ice is topped with thick homemade yogurt, sweet syrup, and various toppings like fresh fruits, nuts, and raisins. The combination of icy, creamy, and crunchy textures makes it the perfect summer treat.
食材清单
- 500 g shaved ice
- 300 g thick yogurt
- 2 tbsp sugar syrup or honey
- Toppings: fresh berries or fruit pieces
- Toppings: raisins, crushed walnuts, almond slices
- Optional: rose water for drizzle
制作步骤
- 1. Slice fresh milk against the grain, add cooking wine, soy sauce and starch, mix well and marinate for 15 minutes
- 2. Pour an appropriate amount of cooking oil into the pot and heat it over high heat until it is 70% hot.
- 3. Add fresh milk and stir-fry quickly over high heat until it changes color.
- 4. Add onion, ginger and garlic and continue to stir-fry until cooked through
- 5. Add salt, soy sauce and cooking wine to taste, stir-fry over high heat and serve evenly.
- 6. Remove from the pan and serve on a plate
