Dingxiang Steamed Pork
Dingxiang Steamed Pork is a traditional signature dish from Dingxiang County, Xinzhou, Shanxi. Made with pork as the main ingredient, steamed together with mashed potatoes. The meat is meltingly tender, the potato mash is smooth and creamy, and the seasonings are simple yet deeply flavorful. It is a must-have dish at wedding and funeral banquets in the Jinbei region.

- Pork belly 400 g
- Potato 300 g
- Starch 50 g
- Eggs 1 pcs
- Green onions 20 g
- Ginger 15 g
- Five-spice powder 5 g
- Salt 10 g
- Cooking wine 15 ml
制作步骤
- Cut the pork belly into thin slices, steam the potatoes and mash them into puree
- Add cooking wine, five-spice powder and salt to the meat slices and marinate for 20 minutes
- Add eggs and starch to mashed potatoes and mix well
- Arrange the meat slices neatly at the bottom of the steaming bowl
- Spread mashed potatoes on top and spread evenly
- Steam over high heat for 1 hour
- Take it out and put it on the plate
