Shanxi Pita Bread In Mutton Soup
Yángròu Pàomó is a hearty lamb soup with torn bread. A dense, flat bread is torn into small pieces and simmered in a rich lamb broth with glass noodles and sliced lamb. The bread absorbs the savory broth while maintaining a pleasant chew. It is one of the most beloved comfort foods in northern China.
食材清单
- 1 flat bread (mo or bing)
- 500 ml lamb broth
- 100 g sliced lamb (cooked)
- 50 g glass noodles (soaked)
- Bok choy
- Garnish: pickled garlic
- Garnish: cilantro
- Garnish: chili paste
- Seasoning: salt, white pepper
制作步骤
- 1. Wash and process the mutton.
- 2. Add enough water to the pot, add mutton soaked buns and ginger slices
- 3. After the fire is boiled, skim off the foam.
- 4. Add the dough pancake, mutton, water, ginger slices and green onions and simmer over low heat for 1 hour.
- 5. Add salt to taste
- 6. Serve in a bowl and sprinkle with chopped green onion.
