Ingredients

  • Rose petal jam 150g
  • All-purpose flour 250g
  • Butter 80g
  • Sugar 40g
  • Egg 1 (plus 1 for egg wash)
  • Peanut oil 1 tbsp
  • Salt 1/4 tsp
  • Sesame seeds 1 tbsp

Instructions

  1. 1. Mix flour, sugar and salt.
  2. 2. Cut in butter until crumbly.
  3. 3. Add egg and form dough. Rest 30 minutes.
  4. 4. Roll out dough. Cut into small rounds.
  5. 5. Place rose petal jam in center.
  6. 6. Fold into half-moon shape. Seal edges with fork.
  7. 7. Brush with egg wash. Sprinkle sesame seeds.
  8. 8. Bake at 180C for 18 minutes until golden. Cool and serve.
